Introduction:
I am a doctoral student at the University of Calgary and a school principal. I have 28 years of teaching experience. I want to:
1. Examine the Effects of New Curriculum: Discuss how recent curriculum changes have influenced teaching methodologies, classroom dynamics, and student engagement.
2. Gather Insights from Participants: Create an interactive space where educators can share their experiences, challenges, and successes related to adapting to new curricula.
3. Identify Best Practices: Collaboratively identify strategies that have proven effective in navigating curriculum changes, benefiting both teachers and students.

Methodology:
- Interactive Discussion: Facilitate an open discussion where participants can share their insights and experiences related to the new curriculum.
- Small Group Breakouts: Organize small group discussions focused on specific aspects of pedagogy impacted by curriculum changes, allowing for in-depth exploration of topics.
- Reflection and Sharing: Conclude with a reflective session where key themes and best practices can be shared with the larger group.

Expected Outcomes:
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of:
- The diverse impacts of the new curriculum on teaching practices.
- Practical strategies for adapting pedagogy in response to curriculum changes.
- Insights from peers that can inform their own practices and enhance collaboration between teachers and administrators.

Conclusion:
Reiterate the importance of collaborative dialogue in education. Emphasize how understanding the experiences of both teachers and administrators can lead to more effective implementation of curriculum changes, ultimately benefiting student learning.

Call to Action:
Encourage attendees to come prepared to share their own experiences and insights, fostering a rich discussion that can drive positive change in educational practices.
