Whether it is for a Remembrance Day presentation or a class presentation, playwrighting can be a way to inspire students to learn more about Canadian history. Focusing on research of individuals or groups, plays show a side of Canadian history that is sometimes overlooked: the individuals and the true stories. Combined with playwrighting or speechwriting this unit will inspire students to learn more about their own history. Students can work individually or in collective writing groups
