About me
Cindy Matheson is an experienced educator with over three decades of teaching and collaborative support experience. She has a proven track record in fostering inclusive, trauma-informed practices and addressing diverse learning needs within the Red Deer Public School Board. As a Coordinator with Red Deer Public Schools, she developed a strong collaborative focus with staff, parents, and various external agencies to support student needs. This work was supported by a Master's in Education with a specialization in Leadership and Inclusive Education. Cindy served as an instructor in the Bachelor of Education program at Red Deer Polytechnic for two years before joining the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre. She is excited to bring her knowledge and collaborative focus to the Education team for Counter Exploitation and Human Trafficking.
